MEDIC RULES/RESCUE OPS FOR PL'S

These rules are used to maintain squad integrity and tactics. This game is based on everyone working together as a squad.

Squads will remain together for the course of the event the best they can. Not everyone will last the entire time. If need be, attach yourself to another squad until your squad is able to join the game again.

Your squad leader is ultimately in charge and will determine when it is best suited for the squad to withdrawl to their CP and re-arm.
When "withdrawing" from the battle, all members of the squad must pull out their kill rags/glowsticks until they are back at their CP.

1) Each person needs to bring 1 Tourniquet (TQ's). (it does not have to be one of ours)
2) Medics can not bandage themselves - Another live medic can.
3) If both medics in the squad are hit, it is mandatory to have your squad return to the CP unless they can be healed by another medic.
4) No one goes back to CP by themselves, the entire squad must go back to CP together. - Live and die as a squad.

5) No Bleed out. Wounded player(s) must remain in place when hit.  A wounded player may not move on their own free will.

Another player can PHYSICALLY drag/carry the wounded player(s).  - Ask them if they want to be dragged or carried if need be.

There is no longer a 5 min bleed out rule.  Wounded players will remain where they are until their squad is able to retrieve them.

6) A medic must have a watch and must hold you for 1 minute in order to simulate "healing" someone.
7) Your TQ can be used on someone else. You may not re-use TQ's until "re-supply."
8) Bandages can be "re-supplied" at your CP anytime you wish - To re-supply your bandages your entire squad must "withdrawl" and go back to the CP.
9) Medics can only bandage 1 person at a time.

10)If you are hit by a mortar you do not pass go and do not collect $200.  Return to CP as a squad.

Medic positions can be exchanged at the CP.
You may not "raid" a dead medics kit.
You may not steal TQ's from the enemy.
Abuse of the medic rule/game mechanics will get your squad sent back to the CP.

Command Element Medic Rules

This includes: CO,2IC, RTO, Platoon leads

1) If you get hit there will be an initial 5min bleedout

2) If you have not been Medic'd by another player after the 5min, you must return to CP immediately.

YOU LIVE AND DIE AS A SQUAD - LEAVE NO MAN BEHIND!

CP/SPAWN AREA

Your spawn is your teams CP.  This area will function as your Primary respawn and is off limits to the opposing faction.

The other team may not enter your spawn unless the CP Raid mission is active to capture the flag.

A secondary spawn will become active for people to go to during this time.

Eye protection must be worn at all times during game play.

The spawn area can be fired out of, but not into from the other team (to prevent spawn camping). (see capture the flag rules for changes)

Capture the Flag

For this event we are allowing CP's to be attackable when the "Mission" goes live.

  • CP’s will not be allowed to be shot into until the mission goes live

  • It will not happen before 2000HRS (8 PM).

    • Commanders will be notified once it’s live

  • The CP will be allowed to be attacked until the other team has captured the flag

  • The flag must be brought to Border Town and put on the flag pole

Once your flag has been captured and the enemy faction has gone past the 50FT radius with it, the normal rules for CP engagements will revert where people cannot fire into it but you can fire out of it to prevent spawn camping.

  • A team's flag will only be allowed to be captured 1 time.

CP Under Attack

CP under attack is defined as taking effective enemy fire - People are being hit with BB’s

  • Anyone that dies inside of the 50FT radius around the CP will not be able to respawn until the attack from the opposing side has finished or has been stopped.

    • The CP can be used as a spawn point again after 5min of NO or non-effective fire

  • Markers will be used to identify the radius ie. banding on trees/paint on ground

In the event a teams CP is under attack, a secondary spawn point will be in place for those outside of the 50Ft Radius.**

2000 Points will be rewarded for successful completion of a CP Raid

The opposing faction may try and reclaim their flag from Border town once placed there.

  • No points awarded for reclaiming your flag.

Flag Carry

  • When a flag has been taken, the LED lights must be initiated on the flag.

  • Anyone carrying a teams flag must drop it when shot - Do not toss or throw to another player.

  • The flag can then be picked up by anyone else

  • For a successful carry, the flag must be hoisted at the flagpole in Border Town

  •

There is no need to constantly raid another teams CP - its demoralizing and causes tempers to flare.  This is why we will only allow it to happen 1X.

Communications Buildings

Teams will not start with radio communications.  It must be earned, but can aslo be taken away.

  • Will be equi distant to cps on each side

  • Teams will not start with radio comm’s - it must be earned, but can also be taken away

  • Each side will have a designated comm’s building - The building will be marked with Satellite dishes - The building will have an LED flasher on it

    • The light must be activated to power up the comm’s (push the button)

    • There will be a mission to take out the enemy comm’s building - 1x

    • A satchel charge must be placed in the building and it will shut down comms for 1 hour for command.

      • Squads may still use their designated channels.

Game Play and Etiquette

This event is about squad integrity and having people work as a team/unit.

If you are getting low on bandages or ammo, pull your squad out and resupply.

Do not call other players hits. Concentrate on calling your own.

If someone isn't calling their hits, give them the benefit and keep shooting them until they call it. If someone is repeatedly breaking the game rules or cheating - report them to game control and they will be dealt with.

Do us a favour if there is an issue. Please have the squad leaders work it out.  If they cannot, call game control. There will be approx 400 people in attendance at this event, names and description will help.

Each player will given a unique identifier tag for this event.  If there are any issues please get the players Ident Number along with the appropriate information so game staff can deal with it.

  • Player must show their band to the other squad leader for documentation

  • If they refuse to show their id band, entire squad gets sat out

  • A loss of 200 points per infraction upon investigation

Dead men do not talk and can only say "Medic" - This is your only warning.

When hit:

1) You will call hit, take out your red kill rag and drop to a knee.

1) Stay where you are and wait to be healed by a medic - No bleed out.

2) You will remain where you are until you are healed or your squad pulls out to resupply.

3) Another team member can drag/carry a wounded person out of harms way with no help from the "wounded player."

If you find yourself blocking a doorway, stairway etc, please move a couple feet out of the way - Don't be a bullet sponge/meat shield.

A medic can heal anyone they wish (minus RECCE) . Keep in mind if a medic from another squad heals a member of your squad, try and get a TQ from them to replace it.

Ricochet's do not count as a hit - it must be a direct hit.

GUN HITS DO NOT COUNT

ROOFTOP ACCESS FOR BUILDINGS

Rooftops that you are not supposed to be on will be blocked off with yellow caution tape.  If we catch you on a roof you're not supposed to be on you and your squad are in deep shit.

POINTS

Daybreak is more of an objective based game where your commanders will be given actual in game missions ie. HVT, Fuel Depot sabotage, Jail Breaks to name few.  These missions will earn you points.

Expect a new mission roughly every 1-2 hours.  It will be a coordinated effort for your team.

Some buildings/flag stations/objectives will be worth points.

All Flags at these areas must be flipped to the teams corresponding colour to earn points.

There will be flags for each building (3 colours per flag section Green, Tan and Red for neutral)

Spoiled flag is a building that doesn't have all corresponding flags the same.

1 spoiled flag will result in 0 points for that building/sector

"Snap Shots" will be taken at certain periods during the game to establish points and are at preset random intervals.

There will be props in play such as defusable bombs that can be disarmed to earn extra points.

FRAGO MISSIONS

There will be NO Frago Missions involving OPFOR.  We wanted to focus more on the gameplay in the main area for the first event at The Compound.

We look to involve OPFOR at future events.
